At SICO Montana, LLC, the philosophy that provides the underpinning for everything we do is simple: to create the best communities, you have to be the best developer. Being the best developer means you must have a true and uncompromising vision of exactly what you are creating, and with an unwavering commitment, take that vision from its inception straight through to final result.

Our vision of growing the best and most vibrant communities in Montana is built upon prudent planning, maximizing open space, and a solid sense of each community’s unique qualities. We feel that every piece of land we have sold or are currently selling has its own distinct personality, and we work hard to bring out those personality traits for the benefit of all of its residents. Sometimes a property’s views are the dominating element. For others, a sense of place is the most striking characteristic. In many cases, our projects are established on land previously owned by ranchers, and in fact, they may have bought the tract from the area’s original homesteaders. We think history is important, and we rigorously protect open space, maintain riparian corridors, and manage prime agricultural land through our planning efforts and partnerships with local farming and ranching families. Montana will always be tightly tied to agriculture, and that’s one of the things that makes it stand apart—so we believe that it’s in everyone’s best interest to develop land with respect, thereby ensuring that Montana’s future is as rich as its past.
